since the best objekt gravity is going on now I decided to look through all of the objekts from this year and pick out my favourites (while trying not to be too biased haha).
you can never blame whales for that vote, s1 consistently has the most unique or fun objekts and everyone can agree on that the flying s1 fco alone is enough to take the cake
love & pop is an interesting choice of name for whatever is being planned with that announcement. there's a great film directed by hideaki anno that shares the same name and it's one that I could see jaden (and maybe sohyun) having watched and taken inspiration from. it touches on themes that share parallels with kpop culture and jaden's artistic interests, such as life as a struggling teenage girl, coming of age, parasocial/subsidised relationships. it's worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

another successful concert held! now to spend all day saving pics and clips and watching fancams.
having now watched the taipei concert in full as well as countless fancams I want to share some thoughts on the show.
I think I can safely say my favourite performance was moon's white soul sneakers cover. it was the perfect display of elegant, feminine sexiness, especially from jiyeon, sohyun and kaede. using the chairs was a great choice although I did get a little bit nervous when they stood up on them in their heels lol. neptune also used the mic stands as props in their cover stage which isn't anything new in the world of kpop but I liked seeing them do something a bit different compared to regular tripleS choreo. crybaby was the perfect song for neptune too and seeing the girls smile and just rock out absolutely melted my heart. sun and zenith covers were ok... not much to say about them tbh.
to keep things feeling fresh and interesting, the concert included plenty of remix versions and a couple dance breaks, most of which I enjoyed. adding those subtle extra horns and strings to new look was a great way to start the show. I wasn't big on the black soul dress rock version during the encore though, I felt like the guitars clashed with the original instrumental a bit. the rising remix was the stand out for me, those deep bass synths completely changed the vibe of the song and transformed it into something brand new. the rest of the set list was pretty good, definitely cool to see diablo and lit pop in there. I kinda miss when colourful was the finale song though, christmas alone just doesn't hit the same.
the first set of outfits were just your standard frilly dresses, colours matching for each of the msnz units, somewhat forgettable. I loved the second set of outfits though, bit of an edgier black and white look and each member had a unique design and set of accessories. chaewon, hayeon, s1 and kwak had the best fits I think (although I'm probably a bit biased in my judgement).
all in all the girls looked happy and confident on the stage, and other than shion taking a little tumble on day one, everything seemed to go really smoothly. the concert was definitely a success and I'm looking forward to the seoul show next month.
I'll be restreaming as usual if you don't want to buy it. also I'm going to buy the 24 objekt pack so if any of you want one just tell me your id and which member you want and I'll give you their objekt for free (not giving away s21 or s19 though).

anyone else noticed the new cosmo update has made the app a lot snappier? there's way less loading time when switching between tabs for me. the updated homepage looks pretty nice too. the only thing I don't really like is how the bottom bar changes when you go to the collect tab it keeps confusing me 😩
