having now watched the taipei concert in full as well as countless fancams I want to share some thoughts on the show.
I think I can safely say my favourite performance was moon's white soul sneakers cover. it was the perfect display of elegant, feminine sexiness, especially from jiyeon, sohyun and kaede. using the chairs was a great choice although I did get a little bit nervous when they stood up on them in their heels lol. neptune also used the mic stands as props in their cover stage which isn't anything new in the world of kpop but I liked seeing them do something a bit different compared to regular tripleS choreo. crybaby was the perfect song for neptune too and seeing the girls smile and just rock out absolutely melted my heart. sun and zenith covers were ok... not much to say about them tbh.
to keep things feeling fresh and interesting, the concert included plenty of remix versions and a couple dance breaks, most of which I enjoyed. adding those subtle extra horns and strings to new look was a great way to start the show. I wasn't big on the black soul dress rock version during the encore though, I felt like the guitars clashed with the original instrumental a bit. the rising remix was the stand out for me, those deep bass synths completely changed the vibe of the song and transformed it into something brand new. the rest of the set list was pretty good, definitely cool to see diablo and lit pop in there. I kinda miss when colourful was the finale song though, christmas alone just doesn't hit the same.
