I was going to say it might be overkill compared to some other webm making options, but if it works, it works.

yeah that was me, i tried the free version and it does what i need, i don't like the terminal way of estimating the miliseconds and doing multiple attempts and being able to scrub through in a gui makes things easier for me at least.

I'm a terminal nerd myself but I get that, a gui does make it easier for most people
resolve will also be good if you ever want to use more complex effects like stabilisation or dynamic cropping

i use avidemux for visual help and terminal for actual ffmpeg
