i actually used to take it long ago when i started having sleep issues
work started at six, which meant having to get up 4am to catch the bus, then at night college went up to 10pm
i had gotten some melatonin that you would just pop a couple of drops under your tongue, worked great. over time i had to use 3, 4 drops, eventually just squishing the thing a little. after college was done most of my sleep issues went away but from late 2023 onwards i developed insomnia again. since melatonin doesn't work anymore, i started taking sleep meds, always needing something stronger after a while, which brought me to ambien about last month
