honestly cant remember where i read it but alot of feminists after chaeyeon said that began to Absolutely Despise her and everything she has ever done because theyre touting her as EVERYTHING wrong with the entertainment industry. They see her as a woman who has proverbially “slutted” herself out for most of her life as an idol and think that this devalued her as a human being much less a women. Her being an idol to them is basically a disgusting worship of the commodification of woman as-though it is her fault
