Has anyone been influenced by starting activities as “SAY MY NAME”? HITOMI: Seeing the IZ*ONE members now thriving in other groups has given me a tremendous positive influence and inspiration. Recently, LE SSERAFIM held a concert at Tokyo Dome, right? We were in Korea at the time, and I thought, “That’s truly amazing…” We couldn’t go cheer them on in person, but watching the footage posted on SNS got me all emotional. HITOMI: Of course, I don’t know everything about it, but I can’t help thinking about how much effort they must have put in behind the scenes. Especially seeing Sakura-chan and Chaewon-unnie starting from scratch again in a new environment—when I see people like that performing at Tokyo Dome, it really hits me how incredible it is. MEI: I was really moved by Sakura-chan’s comments too. HITOMI: I was moved too, so I messaged the two of them saying, “I want to work hard to deliver performances that can move people’s hearts, just like you unnies do.” I told them they didn’t need to reply, but both of them wrote back “Thank you,” and I felt so much love from that. HITOMI: It’s like the (IZ*ONE) members are giving us the chance to dream again, or sparking new motivation that makes us think, “Maybe we can have a future like that too.” Even if things are tough right now or not going as planned, we’ll keep pushing forward, believing in that bright future ahead. MEI: We can absolutely do it. Holding onto big dreams while believing we’ll make it someday, we’ll keep giving it our all.
