Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder originally from Japan. It's bright green because of the high chlorophyll content from how the tea plants are grown - they're shade-grown before harvesting, which boosts chlorophyll and amino acid production.

Women (and lots of people) dig matcha for a few reasons:
