i think its to give it that dreamlike quality, where everything is blurring together for the girls inside the school

also the haziness and bloom inside the mansion tints everything

i didn't actually change the color temperature, the night scenes in the forest are still very cold
its just that with proper contrast (darkest black is actual black, whitest white is actual white)
the warmer colors in the mansion, mostly yellow, pop more. but i didn't mess with color temp. only contrast, brightness, gamma and saturation
