dembow is the music of the gangster in the caribbean in the same sense that drill music and its subgenres is in america and corridos are for mexico they kind of all adopted the same american centric style in the past decade or so but dembow rappers still rap on some of the craziest instrumentals ive ever heard its an incredibly fun genre if you dont care that theyre all in cartel backed drug wars and whatnot

theres something incredibly special about that heart wrenching psychedelic sound that comes from sonideros especially when theyre about love and sadness. im intimately familiar with latin romance culture and the music involved just not particularly mexican stuff either way im a normgroid so i listen to everything on spotify and thats what makes it hard to find the good shit but i know its everywhere

yea pedraza is more of that chilango sound, i feel like theres a million names for that sound. i have my moments where i binge that kind of cumbia for years and years now its def my favorite kind. insanely hypnotic, sometimes psychedelic sounding even, just raw as fuck. pulido's music is more of a northerner sound
its not hard to find either of that stuff tbh but idk how familiar you are with the genre/culture to begin with
