MODHAUS Official Statement
MODHAUS first expresses deep understanding of the confusion and disappointment felt by all fans who were looking forward to the tripleS Hong Kong performance, and regrets this situation.
However, the statement recently issued by AEL regarding the Hong Kong performance contains content that does not align with the facts, making it necessary to clarify the relevant facts.
According to the contract signed between MODHAUS and AEL, AEL was required to pay the final balance within the timeframe stipulated in the contract, but AEL failed to fulfill this payment obligation.
In response, MODHAUS issued a breach notice to AEL in accordance with the contract procedures and provided a reasonable remediation period. However, even after this period expired, the relevant balance had still not been actually paid.
Furthermore, AEL claimed to have completed the balance payment without actually completing the remittance and provided a remittance application document unrelated to the actual remittance as so-called proof. AEL has also not issued any apology or reasonable explanation regarding this matter.
At the same time, we also confirm that relevant personnel from the event organizer used potentially offensive language toward fans and exhibited inappropriate behavior.
The above actions have severely damaged the basic trust that an event organizer should uphold. As a management company responsible for protecting artists' rights and reputation, as well as safeguarding fans' rights, MODHAUS believes that it is now difficult to continue maintaining the cooperative relationship under these circumstances.
In summary of the above, MODHAUS believes that AEL failed to fulfill its balance payment obligations and that trust between the two parties has been significantly undermined, making it difficult to continue the contractual relationship. For these reasons, MODHAUS has decided to terminate the relevant contract with AEL.
