ever since i started having disposable income i got into the idea of building up my own personal bug out infrastructure because of my whole “fear of imminent societal collapse”
right now i just found out about something called project nomad that has shit like local llm, street level mapping, medical information and whatnot, even has an education repository with stuff like hours of khan academy. All free so it sounds like a pretty good deal but i also have no fucking clue how id put this stuff onto a machine that im willing to bring everywhere with me. Ive heard about cyberdecks but this stuff requires alot more than just a raspberry pi which i actually do have access to the hardware recommended to run it i just have no experience with taking hardware out of one case and then building it into something like a cyberdeck
not sure if anyone has any ideas but also i would suggest you invest into something like this yourself, so much stuff has been made over the past decade that make schizoprepping alot easier to do and alot easier to integrate into your technology im wondering if you guys have anything prepared to make your life easier if it comes down to no luxury liv(ing)

work with another LLM to see what works best for you and your system, it's not the same for everyone, there are tons of models for different things, and the bigger ones (even if you can run them with your specs) can actually be worse for what you do

yt-dlp bros, I installed deno months ago with curl and I just never noticed I was running a very out of date version, and probably the reason sometimes the JS challenges weren't solved correctly, specially when I was trying to download Premium videos
